Style and Pairing Advice

  • On board, daytime. On a boat, with an open white shirt and sand trousers, knot it around your neck: lilac is among the rising colors of the season, warmed here by the burgundy edge. SS 2026 Palette: white, sand, lilac.
  • Daytime, outdoors. With a grey or cream linen suit, wear it around your neck: lilac with the olive border is a refined and contemporary combination.
  • In the evening, for an occasion. With a midnight blue jacket and white shirt, wear it around your neck like a soft ascot: the lilac adds a touch of refined personality to the evening suit.

The designer's advice

For the neck knot, fold the square diagonally to obtain a triangle, then roll it on itself to form a soft band. Wrap it around the neck, cross the two ends in front and close with a simple knot, letting the flaps fall inside the open shirt. It is the most elegant — and most masculine — way to wear a square foulard.

One accessory, three ways to wear it

The 70 × 70 cm square format is made for the neck and lends itself to multiple interpretations: knotted softly like an ascot, folded into a triangle like a sailor's foulard, or left looser over the shirt. One single piece, three ways to wear it.

Product care

Pure printed silk. Dry cleaning is recommended. Do not bleach. Iron at low temperature, inside out, protecting the print with a cloth. Store laid flat or rolled up, away from heat sources.

Frequently asked questions

How do you wear a men's square foulard?

Around the neck: fold the square diagonally to form a triangle, roll it into a band, wrap it around the neck and knot the ends in front, letting them fall inside the open shirt. You can knot it softly like an ascot or tighter, sailor-style.

What is the difference between a foulard and a twilly?

The twilly is a narrow and elongated band (130 × 16 cm), designed primarily to be knotted. The ICONIC foulard is a 70 × 70 cm square: wider and softer, perfect for knotting around the neck in multiple ways.

Can I use it as a pocket square?

It is a 70 cm square, designed to be worn around the neck: it would be too bulky in the breast pocket. For the jacket pocket you can find our dedicated pocket squares in the collection, in the right sizes.

Is it suitable for summer?

Absolutely. Pure silk is light and breathable, and the colors of the ICONIC collection follow the Spring/Summer 2026 palettes, designed to brighten up summer looks without weighing them down.
